Statement of Inclusion
We are an Oasis of Wholeness: Building CommUnity inside and out. As members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), we at New Covenant are part of a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and, as Psalm 139 attests, are beautifully and wonderfully made. We welcome all into our fellowship, finding joy in our diversity and committing ourselves to “Building CommUnity Inside and Out.”
Seeking reconciliation, we acknowledge that we are part of a global church that has often excluded people of various traits and experiences from its communion. We confess our complicity in creating this harm. Just as we affirm that all are welcome to the table of communion, we invite all people, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship status or physical, mental or other abilities, to share fully in the life, leadership, and ministries of New Covenant Christian Church as, together, we live into the fullness and promise of God.

“It cannot be denied that too often the weight of the Christian movement has been on the side of the strong and the powerful and against the weak and oppressed—this, despite the gospel.”
